    WHAT YOU WILL NEED 1 pack Deeghuys pizza bases par-baked plain 2 x 50ml tomato puree Dried Origanum Garlic crushed Sliced red onion Sliced mushrooms Cooked shredded chicken Cooked diced bacon Feta, cubed White Cheddar, grated METHOD Preheat the oven to 220°C or warm-up your smoker or pizza oven Place the pizza base on a sprayed baking tray or pizza stone.  Spread the tomato puree on the base and sprinkle origanum, add garlic. Add your ingredients – red onion, mushrooms, bacon and chicken. Cover with Feta and grated cheese. Tips: Add any toppings of our choice such as peppadews, pineapple, chilli, cheeses or meats to build your favourite pizza.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED 15 Deeghuys Chocolate Croissants 180g Nutella spread 500ml cream 250ml milk 4 eggs 5ml vanilla extract METHOD Place Deeghuys Chocolate Croissants on a baking tray lined with baking paper Defrost and proof for 4 – 6 hours until double in size, while covered with plastic or a damp cloth.     WHAT YOU WILL NEED 500g butter icing 2 x Deeghuys 8-inch vanilla sponge cakes 200ml desiccated coconut 2ml green food colouring 350g Kit-kat chocolate bar Farm animals – kids’ toys METHOD Place your first layer on your cake stand.  Put butter icing on the layer and use a small offset spatula to make an even layer Place your next layer on top.  Some icing should ‘spill out’ the sides.   • Muffin-in-cookie-cupcake

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED 1 Deeghuys Chocolate chip cookie dough, frozen 1 Deeghuys Chocolate muffin batter, thawed 1 Vanilla Ice cream METHOD Preheat oven to 180°C. Spray muffin tin with cooking spray.  Cut frozen Deeghuys Chocolate chip cookie dough into 12 pieces and flatten.  Press into cupcake moulds. Fill with Deeghuys Chocolate muffin batter.  Bake for 25 minutes or until golden.  Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with Ice cream for a perfect mouth-watering dessert. Tips: For another variation, use Chocolate Chip cookie dough and Caramel fudge muffin batter.

  • Zesty Lemon meringue vanilla cake

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED 1 Pack Deeghuys lemon meringue filling, defrost 2 x Deeghuys 8-inch Vanilla sponge cakes (4 layers) 3 x Lemons METHOD Place the first layer on the cake stand.  Put lemon meringue filling on the layer and use a small offset spatula to make an even layer. Place your next layer on top.  Some filling should drizzle down the sides.  Repeat this process, filling, layer of cake, filling, layer of cake, until you have added all your layers.  Pour filling over the top of the cake and allow to drizzle down the sides.     WHAT YOU WILL NEED 1 pack of Deeghuys Roosterkoek 6 beef burger patties Salt and pepper to taste 50ml butter 2 tomatoes cut into slices 2 avocadoes, thinly sliced Handful lettuce leaves 60ml caramelized onions or marmalade METHOD Place Deeghuys Roosterkoek onto flat tray and cover with plastic or damp cloth and allow to defrost.  Proof for 2 hours or until double in size. Place roosterkoek onto braai grid and braai for 20 minutes on medium coals, approximately 10 minutes per side, until golden brown.  Braai burger patties until cooked and season with salt and pepper to taste.   • Curry Chicken-mayo Vetkoek

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED 1 pack of Deeghuys pre-fried vetkoek 1 chicken, roasted 200ml mayonnaise 200ml plain double cream yogurt 20ml curry powder 5ml sugar 10ml chutney 30ml spring onions, finely chopped Salt and pepper to taste METHOD Preheat the oven to 180°C. Allow chicken to cool if necessary and shred to pieces in a wide bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients for the filling and mix well.  Add salt and pepper to taste.
